You could get a Haflinger through there! Pick it up and carry it

I was thinking more along the lines of putting it on my roof rack. And put all the camping gear in the bed of the Hafi.

I'm not sure I would consider Mason, Texas to be East Texas. My map shows it is further west than San Antonio! That's borderline West Texas. Just wanted to give you a heads up before that road trip.

Yeah, I've been to b the event ten times. But the Hafi is east of Dallas.

If you pick it up, stop by San Bernardino on the way home to Stockton. I can tell you the most cost effective direction. Bring a memory stick

Thanks Jim!
I might just have to take you up on that although we usually drive straight thru on our way home and would be passing thru your area very early in the morning.
Would you mind sending me a pm with your contact info?
Thanks a lot!

Hmm - that one is tough as it really is more of a parts truck in my view (that is without me actually seeing it and little info)
I passed up one that was $3k and 100% complete in a barn (it was said to run)
Guess it all depends on how much of project you want and if you can find an engine.
I have not been able to find a spare engine in 5 years (at least one that wasn't either in Europe or in another Hafi  )
Good luck and keep us posted
