Chassis Number Breaks VS Cooling System

Post by SpeedAddict502 »

Does anyone know at what chassis numbers the different cooling system versions were instituted at?

Just curious if I start finding trucks to know which version they are.

Thanks!

From an old TD manual:
Version "A" (P80 )
Up to Chassis 264

Version "B" (p80 )
Chassis 265 to 1790

Version "C" (P90 )
Chassis 1791 t0 1936

Version "D" (P90 )
From chassis 1937 to ???

It is unknown when the manual was made, but there was no reference to the P93, or it's radiator cover. I don't remember to a beginning chassis # for them

TD's made in Austria have chassis number lower than 6000, and UK TD's begin at 6000

The diagram below illustrates the radiator cover difference from the P80 through the P93

David,

This is some great info, thanks!

Do you think that the last version of the P90 is also the same package as the P93 except without the intercooler? Or is the P93 a whole different version in itself, a version 5?
