Anyone got one of these laying around? Funny enough I just heard a rusty one got chucked in the bin. Often fitted to Swedish version to heat the engine and very often rusty :D

Well got picked up 2 pieces of functional bling today in what we term M&H alloy auto gear shift cover. First look they are quite good, but still need polishing and or coating. Will go see if everything fits tomorrow

They are quite thick so should be indestructible.

Had a few people ask about them now. I haven't finalized the price as yet as I am travelling at the moment but around the same price as the plastic bit which is around 80-90 Euro

It was something I always wanted to replace but ended up being spur of the moment affair as asked a guy and said yep no problem... Will know more when I get home

I did drag one all the way to UK to pass to the guy who bought my 4x4

SUGGESTION FOR WIPER BLADES AND ARMS?

I have not completely finished this yet but bought some spindle bush replacemement type things, (I have used on old land rovers in the past) it locks on the spindle shaft and provides new splined shaft. ( I checked this and it does fit on 710 splines)

I have compared the pinz arm and wiper to the land rover one, and guess what pretty much the same.

New landrover arms and wipers then should fit.

As I said i havent finished this yet, still to get arms and wipers to complete job, but can see no reason why it does not work and fit.

Replacement land rover blades cost is very low.
