So how does one go about getting a build certificate from SDP? I need to tittle my truck and want an accurate year.

Got an email back from S Tec within a week and they were happy to charge my Visa for copies of the build sheets. Thanks for the heads up.

Well I'm new to the site, I have a 718 from the auction in Ohio. Started to do my first PM on the unit. The unit prd number is 0000172, it has a vw 6 cyl TD in the unit. Need to change out the Alt belt ( The belt size is 40 3/8 " tried a 41 3/8" was too Big, then a 39 3/8" too small), the oil filter is a Wix 51773. Was able to match both at NAPA Auto Parts. Waiting for the manuals to come in to start the real fun. The Cub Scouts have already drafted the Penz for the Clermont, Florida Christmas P on DEC. 3 rd. . Have drawn fist blood so the rest should be down hill. Need doors, winshield, rear roll bar and Canvas and frame any leads would be app.

you are going to have to get used to mm working on a Pinz

Is funny though with the limited space there is little room for error. The parts manual states the sizes but some belt manufactures are measured inside radius, some outside so I did the run around a few times. Heaven forbid I found something in inches!

It was such a pain I photographed each belt as the plan is to by 3 exactly same from same company.

You are right, I have moved a new set of metric tools to the top of the list. I am hoping that my manuals will come in this week so I can get to work. I am thankfull that my son and son-in law will help on this project. I am trying to get it road worthy for the Cub Scouts the I can start to do the Rehab.
