Looks like old site is back online
I called him months ago and then had to chase him down - once I could get him on the phone he wanted to sell me the whole business vs the parts I was inquiring about After another few months of no contact I gave up and then site went offline.
When I last talked to him he did have some parts still in stock but the communications was too much to deal with "I love you Pinz guys, you'll wait for months for a part"
Anyways here is site for what it is worth - some neat stuff/ideas: http://www.knuckledown.us/productline/index.html

Knuckle Down back online?

Re: Knuckle Down back online?
I ordered a pair of headlight guards years ago. Got them very soon but then they went off line and so I crossed them off my list as a place to do business.
Sad to hear that so many are having difficulties with them. I do all my business with EI and SAV now.

I do 90% of my business with EI and SAV, but I don't want the
"cookie cutter" Pinz. There are many ways to do things, and
EI and SAV have done a lot of research to provide viable alternatives
for things like the starter (just bought one) or switches, etc. Their
knowledge is invaluable. But, for other things, I look to source
from some pretty creative outlets. EI and SAV are great, and they
support the Pinzgauer community, but you can't rely on them for
everything. Right now, I've got a used alternator (that I bought
from Scott) and I have an appointment with a local guy who is the guru
of custom alternators here in the Chicago area. I'm going to
see if he can find a way to get about 50 amps out of this, even
at idle rpm. (Normally, rewound you can get 60 to 65 amps, but only about
25 amps at idle rpm) The trick is to find out how to do it without burning
up the stator. If he can show me how, I'll write it up for others to copy.
This Knuckledown guy just turned out to be a bust for a simple cupholder.

I can, but that doesn't mean I will. I disagree with some of the products as they don't improve the owner/user experience. But I can build anything regardless if I agree with it or not.
My Only limitations are equipment based. Even then, I out source to trusted vendors that build to my quality standards.
