Wow, that looks like a good truck from what he indicates. Definatly go take a look and see what she looks like in person. Do you know how to do a basic mechanical check on it? If not maybe someone close can help you out.

edzz was nice enough to give me a good vehicle check list that i will definitely take with me, i just don't want to make the trip for a vehicle that will not perform, not that there is any indication this will not. i did find that is was initially purchased from cold war remarketing, and was owned until at least 05 by this gentleman.

Looks like a decent truck with some nice upgrades, at a very decent price.

I bought my truck from Patrick a year later than that fellow.

Good luck on your search.

this vehicle obviously has a history, and i see that it has had some problems, and i'm not sure if it is just the excitement of finally being within reach of owning a pinz, but i don't want this to be a wasted investment. please, if i am making a bad decision, let me know.

No, some people get vehicles and then find they have no time to enjoy it, or need something else, or find themselves in need of cash.
The price is good, as long as it runs well and you like it, it should be fine.
Go kick the tires and drive it, then decide :D

That is one of my trucks. The one from my failed trip to Kansas in freezing ass weather....never again. I've been chatting to you on email about it. She runs fine and I tooted around town in it a good amount after the carbs got rebuilt at goatwerks. This was my 3rd pinz. Started with a 710k and now have two 712's I did a Baja trip in my other one and I kept the car down at my mothers place. The trip to baja was to trade one for a boat...I love toys! I hope to collect them all some day. Price on the divorce truck is what I paid.

Some of these pics are pre carbs rebuild

A note about the mounting for the "roll bar" it's only about a foot
long. Id make this 3' long.
