I tried to buy a cup holder from Knuckledown productions. The guy
never sent anything. After a month, I called and he told me that
he had no cup holders in stock, and had no idea if or when he would
have any more. He agreed to refund my money. That was over a
week ago. I have not seen the money, and I don't think I will ever.
I tried to call and the recording said the mailbox is not in service.

It was weird in that during the conversation he said that most people
don't wait a month before they call. That's just unethical, and morally
corrupt. He is collecting money for things he has no intention of delivering.
I hope no one else has been taken by this guy.

Did you use a credit card? If so you should have 60 days to dispute the charge and get your money back from your card company.

Quick update:
I called and told the messenger service (he has someone screening
his calls) that "I want my money back. And if I don't get it back within
24 hours, I will file complaints with the BBB and the Attorney General".
(after all, he is committing fraud using an interstate commerce method)
My money was refunded about 10 minutes later. lol
