Bugatti oil change costs $20K??

Post by VinceAtReal4x4s »

The Veyron uses a dry-sump oiling system with 16 different drain plugs, accessible after removing parts of the underbody. Refilling, along with checking air filters and all that good stuff, requires removing the car's rear fender liners and rear deck. Guess how many bolts are holding those pieces on? Too many, that's how many.

If you have Bugatti money, dropping 21 large on a fluid change might seem appropriate, but it's still pretty inflated. $21,000 is about 1.4 percent of the base Veyron's $1.5 million price tag...

Ya but you only need to change the oil every 6,000 miles or once/year which ever comes first :DD

Then there's the Tires -- Wonder if these are Interco's :P

"The second worry you will have after shelling out $1 million for this car and handling its yearly routine cost of $21,000.00 will be the cost of its tires which are quite expensive at $33,000 a set every 2500 miles which is why we anticipate that not many people will be driving these cars as often as they would like. The worst part is that not only will you pay $30,000+ for tires but expect to pay $50,000+ every 10,000 miles for a new set of wheels on top of the tire costs."

IMHO, no less (nor more) ridiculous than the Lambo LM-002 that you can't even get tires for anymore.
