New Oklahoma Pinzgauer owner

Post by Badshot »

Hello

Everyone I am now the proud owner of a 1972 pinzgauer I just bought it in a very small town called wann, Oklahoma been learning about this beast and have decided to ship it up to linden engineering in Colorado it will ship out in about a week I asked them to check all the mechanics on it. I know it needs a complete brake job and wanting it converted to electronic ignition as well. Looking forward to getting it back and enjoying it.

Not sure on the SSI whatever linden recommends is the way I will go. Profile updated need to take some smaller pics mine are too large to post here.

Ps drove the beast around the yard I have 3 acres shifts great in high and low range and all lights work except turn signals?

What little bit the wife and I drove about 20 mins worth was awesome

Just an FYI, you may not need a brake job, the brakes have no automatic adjusters. The must be adjusted manually with some regularity.

Best wishes

Ed,
pretty sure the brakes need attention they are leaking on all four wheel cylinders.

Congratulations!!! One thing I'll mention, be very cautious of putting too much downward strain on the front attachment point. Pulling straight is just fine but down is a no-go. Otherwise it looks very similar to mine when I first picked her up :D
