June 9th, British car show in El Segundo, Cal (near LAX)

Post by David Dunn »

Though not applicable to most here,
June 9th , the Automotive Driving Museum is having their 2nd annual British Car Show
https://www.automobiledrivingmuseum.org ... -car-show/

As expected, I've registered GG... not that she'll win anything but to raise an eyebrow from the British car and Pinzgauer "experts" that attend.

Hope I can make it! I'll have to bring a camping chair so I can sit and listen to all the "I thought those Unimogs were German" comments. :?

You know Ed, that wouldn't be a bad idea, if it wasn't in a confine area at the show.

Now that I've finished moving, I need to check the logistic of towing it with the Pinz. The biggest problem is that the trailer is a Mk2a with a vertical mounted jockey wheel that would hit the spare tire on GG ( though if I remove the jockey wheel and shaft, it may clear under the tire). I have made a Mk3 type pivoting jockey wheel mount, but hesitate to modify a clean and almost complete field cooking trailer

Sold the shop and consolidated into one place (somewhat  ). Next is to look for a GG friendly state ( or vehicles in general) and organize the wagon train eastward.
