I havent seen these in person yet but the $99 price is really good right now if they are even half as good as the Australian made Maxtrax or Tred-Pro's. I carry the Tred-Pro's which I can't recommend enough to people. In fact I'd go so far as to say they are more useful than a winch for lots of recovery situations! (Did I just say that?)

I like the idea of these using the gas can mounts which are also lockable.

If you don't carry anything, I'd consider buying these. I'd love a review but they need to be compared to quality versions like listed above. These are US made!
The Chinese crap that's flooded the market is just like the winches they make... cheap, scary to use and won't last.

Back when I was looking into traction boards, the ones I would
have bought were as Vince pointed out -- Maxtrax or Tred-Pro's.

I ended up going with Waffle boards about the same cost but also
can Bridge, as well as Traction, and useful as a makeshift table.
They are heavy, and no easy place to mount thus takes up a lot of space.
Got mine here, https://www.okoffroad.com/stuff-waffleboards.htm

At the price, I would have given these RotoTrax's a try if they had been
available. As far as bridging goes, if I need that, I'm probably on the
wrong trail anyway :P

I'm not over impressed. I feel the $75 amazon X-Bull are better than these. Top traction looks fine, but there really isnt an underside to em. No real traction nubs on the underside. Its basically the outer edge only that will sink into the mud/sand and provide resistance.

They will do awesome for the haflingers i guess.
