Pinz Salvation

Good Morning all this is my first post and I'm very new here.
Name's Brad I'm 23 from Southern California. I've been in love with Pinzgauers since I was about 7. Dad's old college roomate had a sweet 710M we went camping with a couple of times. Enough about me though....
Recently I was showing my work friends about these machines and it just so happened one of my guy's grandparents has a Pinz sitting at their farm shop. It looks a bit dilapidated, but has only been sitting for a few months supposedly.
I'll attach some photos and I'm looking for opinions from other Pinz owners as to if this woud be worth salvaging. No idea what coud be wrong with it but I imagine it might be a bit easier to resurrect versus my 84 BMW 318i. My dad has experience with VW bug engines and we hail my uncle as the Irish Oracle when it comes to anything mechanical.
My budget is limited which isn't conductive to owning a Pinz but MAN would I love one. Any thoughts on what to offer for it?
