I promised the answer so here it is.
I have it on good authority from a Defence Forum I am on, that the Kiwi
(New Zealand) Soldiers have taken (in increasing numbers) to calling
their Pinzgauers .......
SHREKS!
Why ”Shreks”? ...... Because like the animated hero in the movie they are:
