ALASKA PINZGAUER OWNERS- ????INSURANCE

Post by AK NIMROD »

I'M HAVING PROBLEMS GETTING INSURANCE ON MY "NEW" PINZGAUER.
PROGRESSIVE IS FIRST TO SAY OK, BUT $452 / 6 MONTHS FOR JUST MIN. STATE REQUIRED LIABILITY.

ANY IDEAS OUT THERE WHERE I MIGHT GET IT CHEAPER??

THANX PAT

Here's a link to the sdp site page with carrier references that may help:

Gee, that is cheaper than Progressive wants in Washington state! ($500+ per 6 mo.) What a friggin racket...just don't get hit or crash it yourself, then it will go up even higher! Good luck finding a solution and a reasonable carrier.

Start / join a Military vehicle club, get it covered as a collector vehicle. Ulless you plan to take it on a loooong weekend , mileage should not be an issue, just a thought, worked for me, Mark

Hi,
Good to hear you got coverage.
I'm on Allied here and no problems... (for future reference). I'm about $300/6 months in the city for daily-driver coverage...
Best Regards,
