Hey Everyone,
Its been quite a while, but we wanted to gauge interest in an Air Suspension Kit for the M710.
Please let us know by filling out the google docs survey:

So the difference between max height and lowest height is about 8 inches - Then it would seem that the difference from a normal driving setting to the lowest height would be about 4 inches of reduced height - correct?

I suppose this would be helpful for those with standard garage door issues then... probably is more than available from just airing the tires down all the way...

I was lucky enough to see the prototype of this suspension on the trails. Interesting with some of the combinations of settings and the way a pinz behaves on the trails. Going downhill with the front fully infalted and the rear totally deflated made the angles feel real odd. Same thing for climbing a hill. Not sure how much interest there is for the kit (I assume that is the reason for the survey) but a neat idea.

Based on historical timeline between posts the kit should be ready in 2-4 years

So how much would a 710M need to be lowered, especially at the rear, to insure a tire's tread is flush with the road and wearing evenly?

Until the axles are horizontal.

Seriously, I don't think there is one dimension which will address every truck. Depending on the condition of your rear springs, the axles will be forced downward to some amount. How far below horizontal they sit is likely to vary from truck to truck.

You could take a measurement from the rear diff to the ground. Then load the truck with heavy stuff (concrete blocks comes to mind) until the axles are horizontal and the tires sit flat. Measure it again and calculate the difference.

To solve the uneven wear on tires, I've swapped them inside for outside on the rims when they get too worn on one edge.

So. How far along are we with this kit? Any new threads or progress? I can’t find anything else about it.
