Help with identifying Pinz 710M accessories

Post by Hersir »

I finally have my new (to me) 1975 Pinz 710M and am very excited about finally joining the Pinz club. The previous owner took great care of it and included many extras. As I looked through all the accessories the previous owner included, it became clear that this truck was some sort of soft top radio truck--perhaps a company command truck of some sort. I'm hoping that the collective experience of the owners here can help me figure out what's it's all for, where it goes, and what my little Pinz did while in the service of the Swiss Army.

Here are some pictures of the extra brackets and where they seem to fit based upon holes already present:

While both seats are now located next to the cab I believe the driver's side passenger bench seat was previously located on the opposite side near the rear door (ie seating along one side of the truck opposite these radio brackets.

Any info about would be greatly appreciated, especially any photos of this type of truck in service showing the gear that was used, etc.

Many thanks.

Yes, yours would have been a soft top radio truck. Most of the bits are just plates for holding the radio gear, the green clips are rifle holders. Maybe someone somewhere has pictures of a similar truck with the radios still in!
