That was 2 axle drive housings that broke at the sheer pin(rt front, rt center) when the tires contacted the body.

That would be an obvious yes Of note, the trail conditions were brutal and the Truck was very heavy. A lighter truck may have made it with the same tires. Load always plays in as a factor in these types of failures.
