Yeah and that fancy "wine tasting" table done in the euro plate. Oh and those body mounts. Oh and rock sliders.

Somehow I missed this one or it just came and went as I skimmed the forum.

I think what Vince (and Andre) assembled is precisely what I'd like to find for myself. Do the 2 door model and the 4 door versions have the same model designation?

Yes they have the same code. "300GD" is the diesel. SWB or LWB is short or long wheelbase.

Took the G out to test out the flex at the Hungry Valley 4x4 area. Got that rear tire up but didnt notice since the locker was on.

two pages and over 700 views, I think this is evidence opening the forum up to more Euro trucks would be a good choice.

How would the Pinz fair in steps like that?

The photo doesn't quite do that step justice, it's pretty big. In my opinion a 710K would have rolled at that point. Not sure about an M. The ind. suspension doesn't give enough to allow enough leveling to happen. Of course if I was in a Pinz and this kind of situation was on a trail, I'd go up it differently. Apples and Oranges... the G is no fun to sleep inside of!

David, Vince's truck is a SWB, I thought you were on a LWB kick now.?

That strenghtens my arguments on FMTV and Supacat sections.
I know I'll pay for that... Vince will add a section, " Dave's POS"

Oh and BTW Vince, we just gota do something about the glass in the G. :P

I'm much more focused on finding the cleanest unit and don't feel strongly about SWB or LWB as long as it's clean, rust free and has a solid drive train.

While on the subject (?) Dave, do you have an opinion about a 240? Is it going to be capable enough or even slower than a Pinzgauer?

I'm not Dave :D but not much faster than your old Pinz

So challenging a guy in a new G500 to a race would probably be a bad idea!
