Changes to Pinz between 1974 and 1982?
Changes to Pinz between 1974 and 1982?
Sorry if this is in another thread, but I couldn't find anything in a search. I am trying to find out what changes were made in the 710/712 from the early '70s to the early '80s. Does anyone have a reference?

There were no significant outward changes to the 710/712s over their years of productions. Changes were made to fix problems that were found out in use and upgrades were made to parts. Definitely nothing to stop you from purchasing one year over another.
The catch phrase for purchasing a Pinz is: " Let the vehicle speak for itself"
California is the only place the year matters.

all the parts that were upgraded are backwards compatible. There were some minor changes to a few parts and these will be found in the parts breakdowns. starter, alternator and of course exII are a couple items that come to mind. None are deal breakers by any means. In some cases they have already been changed out from service use.
