Pricing a 710M

Post by Hersir »

Fellow Pinz Enthusiasts,

I find I'm having to give serious thought to selling my prized 1975 Pinz 710M. It's a former Funkwagen with seating now where the radio racks were. Odometer reads less than 35K km. What's the going price range for a clean and relatively stock truck? I know there are many variables so I'm just looking for a range to start with in order to help me decide what to do.

Thanks.

My Guess would be 10-15 depending on condition but that would be for a good solid running 710M truck up to 18 for a perfect minty one . K's would be 15-20. Obviously the cleaner the higher and also depends on how fast you want to sell. A nice clean solid truck you should hold firm on a fair price but if it need this and that and you want to sell it quickly be willing to negotiate down. Hope that helps as that is the base information I would use to sell my truck.

My thoughts, given it has great mechanicals with no needs, no major rust issues, I'd start at $16500 and negotiate no lower than $15. That would be my plan in your part of the world.

Now here, of course, whenever someone asks if I want to sell, my wife jumps in and says $50K !!! to scare them all away. Guess I'm not selling... :D

I am often asked if I want to sell and I usually tell them $25K and it's yours.

To be blunt, it would be worth a little more if you took all that stuff off of it.

...but then you have all those holes to patch. Still, really a gem of a vehicle.
