NO BRAKE LIGHTS?????????????????????

Post by ABSOLUTSECURITY »

1975 712 AMB-S

Pinz has 4 inch round LED lights installed by previous owner and both lights burned out shortly after me driving it around a few hundred miles!
Today I put in like same 4 inch round LED stop / tail / turn units and I dont have any brake lights???????

ANY IDEAS?

I think I an going to buy SAV LED stop tail turn rectangular light assemblies to replace these Mickey Mouse installed 4 inch rounds and need a little help trying to figure out why I dont have any brake lights!

Happy New Year to all!

These LED Light work fine. They allready have all the electronic incorporated and are 100 % waterproof. I bought them on Ebay in Australia.

the #6 cicuit breaker tripped when I was hooking up a electronic flasher so I think something terrible has happened - a friend and I tried looking into it yesterday and I'm just going to have to get a hold of a professional!

Thanks for all the posts!

Check the switch!!!!!!!

I got together with a friend and we checked the switch and shorted the two leads going to it and no luck!

I has to be a relay or controller that operates the same circuit for high beam dip and brake lights!
man I think I really messed something up not know 100% what I was doing!

Glenn- any luck yet getting the brake lights to work.
breaker might be bad, that's problem i had in Colo. other problem was the sensor on the back side of the brake unit under dash on left. Patrick @ CWR said those go out and we bought one and my son-in-law replaced it. easy fix...alittle messy.
rosa wire- is appearently for lights in position 3 all the way up and to right. ( we installed LED double taillights last night , wow what a difference ) rosa wire had us stumped. appearently id "black out light , very small bulb in original tail lights my son figured it out and got everything to work.
also check the grounds at the breaker and switch. good luck Pat
