Jim Tucker is pretty sick...and not in a good way

Post by pinzwheeling »

For those of you who know Jim Tucker from Ramona Motors, this is for you. As many of you know, Jim is my best friend and we've been best friends since the late 80s when we were in the Navy together. Lately, Jim has been having some health problems and he's taken a severe turn for the worse. That’s one of the reasons neither us attended Mogfest for the first time in 8 years.

Jim is currently at Palomar Medical Center in San Marcos, Room 424. If you live in San Diego and want to cheer him up, or just say hi, I’m sure he would love it.

His cell phone number is 760-399-7381, please feel free to text him (let him know who you are when you do, he doesn't have all of his contacts on his phone.)

Palomar Medical Center, room 424
2185 Citracado Parkway
Escondido, CA 92029

It has been many years since I have lived in San diego and spent time with you and Jim.
Please give him my best regards and sincere hopes that he is better soon.

Jim has passed

Post by pinzwheeling »

I'm sorry to share such sad news. Yesterday at 5:36 PM, Jim Tucker passed after having a cardiac arrest shortly after getting a procedure. He was with friends, and didn't suffer. I will update you as I figure out how to set up the funeral service arrangements. Jim was a true friend to all who knew him and he will be sorely missed by many of us.

Michael,

Very sad to hear this news. Several of my friends and I were sitting around this evening when I went to the computer to discovered your update.
We toasted Jim and raised a glass to his memory. Please extend my regards to his family and give them my deepest condolences.

We've set up a donation site for Jim's kids. All proceeds are going to be donated to Jim's oldest daughter, and she will divide them up between her brother and sister. Please help if you can; Jim didn't have much to leave, so anything would help.
