A couple of years back I decided to try improving the air flow thru the heater/defroster system on my Pinz by changing the motor and cleaning/polishing the blower wheel. I was hoping to get a bit more heat but definitely more air flow thru the defroster vents. I finally succeeded (sort of) and now have these leftover pieces that maybe someone else would like to experiment with. All 3 motors work; the Red Dot is new stock and the other 2 are US Military NOS. The Red Dot rotates CW (correct for the stock Pinz blower), the US Mil unit with the fan cage rotates CCW, and the other US Mil unit has been modified by a motor shop and should rotate CW. I haven't used it so don't know for sure.
Maybe one of you would now like to experiment or just fab up a nice fan for your cab.
I'll include the 3 motors, 1 fan wheel that came with a motor and one modified Pinz blower wheel as shown. The Pinz wheel has been drilled and tapped with a set screw for the motor shaft.
$55 for all including shipping by Priority Mail to the lower 48.
Reply or PM with any questions.
My final solution for my Pinz was to use a a different Red Dot motor (2 speed) and a modified blower wheel. It does move more air for the defroster but with a noticeable increase in fan noise so not a complete solution.

That Red Dot motor shown is also 2 speed -- I see Red, Orange and Black leads.
How did the two speeds work out w.r.t. the old Pinz motor's air flow?

Re: FS: (3) 24V Electric Motors and Blower Wheel
Yes, that Red Dot is 2 speed. The low speed was comparable to the stock Pinz motor and the high speed seemed to be 20-40% faster. I didn't have a way of measuring the actual speed and of course it was slower under load with the fan wheel attached.
I got the impression that the stock fan wheel is matched well to the blower motor and that increasing the motor speed, for example 20%, does not seem to increase the air flow 20%. Perhaps some sort of cavitation going on?
The increased air flow does help to keep the windshield clearer but still room for improvement.
