More haflinger parts than I will ever need - -
All,
I am finally going through the rather large parts collection I purchased in the 1980's with my Haf. The previous owner was going to open a dealership in south Texas.
The first photo is a good representation of the condition of the parts. About 1/2 are new, but have seen many years of storage under a shed roof. I am now separating all from dirt and leaves and decomposed boxes. Lots of used parts. Enjoy the photos. I probably have about 4 more pickup truck loads to sort and re-box. Then, it's a matter of finding out what others here may want and finding a good home for some of the much sought after parts. No reason for me to have a dozen oil pumps ... you get the idea.
I have 3 Hafs (see my previous post), one of them will be "old red", which was converted to a VW engine. I might pull my original Haf engine out of my 4 passenger with the nice canvas and use the adapt-kit from old red to install a VW engine, just for parts availability and (admittedly) for a little more power. Anyone here made this conversion as well ?? So - - 3 Hafs and only one running right now. Projects, projects.
I am located in San Antonio, Texas. I had one member call me to say hello about 6 months ago. Thanks, and ..... the journey beings!

And some more photos from the two times I have loaded the pickup truck ..... so far. Parts are being re-boxed and placed inside a hangar for storage.

All,
Keep those requests coming in. I will start a list and see what pops up in the back of the pickup truck as I transport all of these items. First criteria to meet will be the number of parts vs. what I may use in the future. But .... lots of duplicates are in the pile.

James - - if you are looking a windshield frame, I have seen a spare green one in the pile. If you are looking for the glass, we may be out of luck.

We finished with another load of parts today. My guess is one or two more trips and I will be done getting all the parts out of the dusty storage and into my hangar. And I still have yet to move "old red" with a vehicle trailer and get it out of the weather. Note the dumpster - - we filled it with junk from the workshop and carport. I am amazed with how much "stuff" we have had to deal with at the old home.

Wow.
Looking forward to seeing what you put up for sale.
I'd be interested in some doors and bows also, maybe also other bits and pieces. Some body panels, etc etc.
ETA: Also, come to think of it, I need some lower engine tinwork.

Well - - two weeks ago I finally was able to move "old red" to the hangar. I think I need a bigger hangar!
Bad news - - where ever the leaves (composting well, by the way) were piled on top, the metal corrosion is bad, or worse.
Good news - - the rest of the metal (including the side rails) looks decent. The VW engine adapt kit looks promising. And it produced extra parts ... hidden in those leaves! Enjoy the photos.
A few of you have contacted me by email (the best way) for parts. I will do my best to find them and respond ( nelson.p.amen@gmail.com ). No promises on what I might find or how long it will take me to get off my duff and make things available. In the meantime, most likely my older spare engine and a roll bar hoop will be listed in the classifieds when I get a chance to dig them out and take photos. These two items I will not use.
Be safe out there,

Nelson,
THANK YOU!!!...for sharing your photos and information. I have just sent you an e-mail giving a bit of my particulars as well as leaving a message on your phone.
I have no doubt Constantin Kiesling of Austria will also be very interested in gathering all the info he can about the person who had planned to set up a south Texas dealership. Your current parts inventory is quite amazing. It is nice to know that those items did not end up as recycled scrap.
I look forward to making direct contact with you in the future.
Take care.
