Custom Center Console

Build projects, things that guys have come up with to make a Pinz better (or worse?) and aftermarket add-ons.

Sorry for the delay. I had been wrapped up with the Treffen. Now that it is over I will get the consoles going :)

I have been a little delayed with the center consoles. i have 4 mostly completed but I am needing to get one complete to get some pictures and put them on the website. Once I do that I will open the ordering and get them shipped out as they are made.
Thanks

Can you post a picture of how they mount/seal?
I know they use the stock small clips but do they seal out the noise as well (or better) than the stock lid?
Thx

I used some go density weather stripping with self sticky tape on one side to seal mine. Keeps the water, dust and noise out. It has been way too long for me to remember if there was a sound difference. I know it keeps the small items from bouncing around inside the truck as the tentation to put things on the inspection cover is always there and of course keeps the drinks close at hand.

All you do for installation is remove the existing lid, set the console in that location, there is a cutout to fit around the opening. Once in place you use the front and back latches to hold it down. I can not say anything about the noise reduction since I never drove one with the lid.

There are 3 more center consoles left at www.swpinz.com. Great for holding your drinks and storing your belongings that you want to keep close.
