Pinz specalist near San Francisco?

Post by edj710k »

A friend in San Francisco is ready to buy a pinz after I demonstrated mine to him romping high speed on trails. He has found an affordable non-runner. Are there any Pinz specialists in the bay area that he could take it to for a going through?

My guess is that the closest "specialist" would be Jim LaGuardia down in San Bernardino
Other option would be Scott at Expedition Imports but he does not really "work" on others trucks as part of his daily business.
If your buddy doesn't know how to wrench on it then the "affordable non-runner" will become a money pit very quickly

Red Label, Vacaville CA. Call and talk to Alex. Alex was at EI back in the day
when Scott was doing service.

My recommendation would be that your buddy had better know how to fix minor
and semi-major stuff himself, as with any specialty shop lead-time is long and
is not cheap.
