Where on your trucks would you place a nato (or 2 pin) slave starting cable socket? By design there's a facility for a socket on the back end next to the tail light, but that gets covered up by the upgraded LED lights.
Where would you guys put such a socket on your truck? In the cab? Next to the battery box?

NATO starting slave sockets were installed on a bracket behind the left front seat on the bulkhead for NATO spec'ed trucks. 2 pin and single pin sockets are NATO, just an update of the spec.
The smaller 2 pin socket that some trucks had by the left rear tail lamp were for an auxiliary power point.

I would put it on the battery box since you would have been checking the batteries if you were planning on jumping the truck with the NATO two pin or looking to connect s very high draw appliance. I have the Bradley impact tool and a 120 converter that use the bathroom two pin plug as per source. Nice to have as my G wagon also had the plug along with the m37's. Guess I should build done jumper cables based on the two pin
Re: Nato or 2 Pin slave cable socket, where?
Yeah, next to the battery box seems like a good location, fewer locations to cut to make a path for the wires. I have an M35 and one of those Bradly impact wrenches for it (bought a pallet of them years ago via GL). M35's place the slave socket on the right side of the cab behind the co-driver. HMMWVs put it in the foot well of the co-driver.
I'll have to think about this.

And my Swiss G has it located under the dash next to the power switch.
