First, CARB added a$3500 fee to "new" old vehicles when arriving into our fine state. But yes, the price is a premium price.
Then, in theory, CA pinzgauers need to be 1974 or older to be legit. So, if there is title/registration, awesome.
The real question is, how many 'k"s are left that are in good shape. I am not seeing any at SAV or EI. When I last talked to Scott @EI, there are very very few left in Europe that can be brought into California (needs to be '74 or older).

With the extra CARB fee I can see they want that money back selling it. And good point about the 'K', they are not the most common you'll see.
