Newbie question....

Is this the correct jacking point? Is the rear similar? Thanks!

It's a good one, when using the Pinz jack. Though I never use the Pinz
jack in my "shop". I use a high lift floor jack, and typically lift under
the Diff with a block of wood to protect the Aluminum case. Then I
slip a Jack stand where you have the Pinz jack, lower the floor jack
somewhat then the wheel will lift a tad more. Thus having redundant
jack points for safety.
