They each use different part numbers.
7101543921 for Series 1 (Gas), 7581540421 for Series 2 (TD)
7101543921 for Series 1 (Gas), 7581540421 for Series 2 (TD)

Re: front coil spings...
TD front springs will fit the 710/12, BUT the 716/18 are handling more weight in front with the diesel , auto box (in many cases) plus the radiator and additional cooling system weight. The TD's front suspension had more spring/support pins combos because of additional accessories ( like winch, etc..)
Attached are the factory spring/support pins available from the factory

Re: front coil spings...
TD springs are actually larger in diameter and require larger perches.

Re: front coil spings...
My pinz was sitting 2.5 inches lower than my dads 710 because of the old, tubby front springs. They were the standard springs that came on every 710. The red stripe. Not the beer. I purchased a set of “new” used red springs to try to correct the problem. It did not. The new red stripe springs were just as saggy bottom as the originals. So that was the second set of springs I removed. The 3rd and final set were the 2 stripe yellow TD springs. In my case, they were a perfect replacement, with zero fitment issues. The red springs have more coils, closer together. The TD springs have fewer coils but a higher compression resistance. As of now, I’ve run them for about 6 months in several varieties of weather, with no sag, no issues and they are still holding my hearty bumper and winch at the factory level. Overall, it was one of the best upgrades to my truck I’d say.
