3M Adhesive Remover

Post by rmel »

If you have ever stripped and replaced the door rubbers you probably found removing
the underlying adhesive was no fun aka 3M's "Yellow or Black snot". Which I just did
for my 712 "gussyup" project.

Well it's pretty rare when you get a product and it performs far better than expected.
This stuff from 3M is absolutely amazing. It's citrus based and actually smells good.
After removing the rubbers (tip: use a heat gun), spay this stuff on and all that old
snot just wipes right off with no effort.

Did you replace with standard weather strip from SAV or something else?
