I just about dropped the hammer on one last year. X-tourist truck. Thank God I did my homework. It was a salt water truck. :roll: . Walked, rather ran away. You need to be an engineer/machinist/and or a rich mommy or drug cartel to keep it on the road.

The spacers came out (the best I can tell) off the end of the shaft between the Clip and the nose cone. It looked like they polished up the shaft but I could see no propose for them then second guessed myself.

Starter question

Ok,ok, I know. Pay attention to how it comes part. :D
On the starter drive, when putting it together is it drive,brass spacer/clip retainer, clip, three spacers?
The three spacers don't seem to have a function there but don't fit any farther towards the drive.
I feel like an idiot but would ...

Have the same problem on my 710k and Landcruiser. The oil in the transmission is too thick on -15c days and will stall out the motor. Landcruiser fixed with synthetic fluid, Pinzy I just take my time on clutch release untill it has run for a bit.

WHAT? I CAN"T HERE YOU OVER THE GEAR WHINE! :mrgreen: Pretty much the conversation in my truck. Check your u-joints. I had one going out and changing it made a difference.
