Found the same thing today on mine, just peeled the old one off and wanted to know what you did before replacing the boot
if you have any suggestions, since your last post on the topic , I would appreciate any help

I had been using the flat blade but still could not hook them out.

I have been in the process of changing out all the fluids on my 712. I managed to get out all of the oil plugs, some with great difficulty, but there out, however 90% of the copper rings that accompany the plugs are still embedded at the bottom of the threads going into the gear body, Any ...

I just purchased a new set of headlamps for my 1973 Pinzgauer 712
The new headlights came with only the 3 point connector
I read one of the posts that said to cut the excess wires off or tape them off
those wires being the ones on the bottom of the oem product that appeared to have

Just my opionion
I was driving my Pinz this week with brand new Doetsh shocks
it was -15 and I had 50 psi in the tires due to highway use.
The rear of the truck rides like a dream , but that could be do
to the 4 wheels at the rear on the 712, or the new shocks.
The front suspension shakes your teeth ...

Hi just purchased a set of rear brake cylinder's for my 712 from .............
The threads in the cylinder (female) have no bite and strip away very easily
has anyone encountered this , what is the fix
these were in the 50 dollar range each from a regular distributer
