Congrats, Chris!
I was eye-balling this very G-Wagen when it was posted on Bring-a Trailer:

You've got yourself a beautiful classic "G" ... enjoy! BTW, you're missing the tow pin for the front bumper. Guido always has some good G ...

SOLD: 1973 Pinzgauer 712M (Canada) CDN$ 16,500
SOLD: I need to make space for an inbound ex-Bundeswehr Mercedes G-wagen so my Pinz 712M needs to go. I'm located in Calgary, Alberta and the Pinz is registered for road use in Alberta. My asking price is CDN$ 16,500 so, what with the exchange rate between Canadian and US dollars, it's a genuine ...

Re: WTB: Volvo C303 Hardtop or Pinzgauer 712M
Agreed, why so inexpensive?? That's a great price for what looks like a well cared 712!
North of the 49th here, there's not much of a Pinzgauer following and virtually nobody the likes of Jim LaGuardia is here to hold a Pinz owner's hand. This is Eric Minnick's truck that I bought from him when ...

Re: Turn signal woes
Thanks everyone for the diagnostic ideas and tips. Time to do some more troubleshooting with a VOM/test light and then likely some parts to order. I take it that the correct VW Type 2 signal light switch to order is part #211953513G. Has anyone installed one of these and, if so, how do the VW switch ...

Re: Turn signal woes
The circuit breaker did pop (or trip) and I did reset it by pushing it in again. Do these circuit breakers fail (resetting it still leaves an open circuit)? I think it's safe to say there's a short somewhere; I just don't know if it's in the turn signal switch, the micro switch for the brake lights ...
