If you're referring to the light just above the glove compartment, there is a "hood" type switch built into the light housing. Flip the hood down and the light will go off

I did re-use my OEM bolts.

And yes, pre-torque to 20Nm, then 60 degrees past that
which equates to one facet of the hex head.

Did the batteries ever get fully charged up?

I put a two foot breaker bar on those bolts and was able to crack them free
fairly easily.

I need to replace the ring gear on my flywheel but cannot seem to even
budge the six bolts holding it on. What's the trick?
I've even put a pneumatic impact wrench to them and no joy.

If a person knew right where to drill, I suppose the same fix could be accomplished by drilling thru the skin and disc flange, then welding up the hole, thereby bonding the two together.

I received my new brake booster today from SAV, and in the process of replacing it, I find the original booster half filled with brake fluid. What a mess!

I'm assuming now that I need a master brake cylinder rebuild kit (??)

Driving around lately, I have noticed my RPMs going up a bit after I come to a stop.
I could take my foot off the brake and quickly stab the gas pedal and the RPMs would
briefly return to normal, but then quickly rise again.

How many degrees past TDC would be a good starting point?
