Re: Harness for Solenoid

New Starter and solenoid solved it all!......It really fires up with authority now. Version 2 fits like a glove. I wonder if anyone would want the original to refurbish?....heck, hate to through it away.

Re: Harness for Solenoid

Thank you! I traced one of them back to an accessory, perhaps a heater? I noticed the little black gauge wire has just a small flat head on it, I guess it just sits in the compression screw on the solenoid. You would think that would have a round hole fastener to attach to the post?......I ...

Re: Harness for Solenoid

Ok, that helps me out a bit, thank you! I have the nice, colored wiring schematic that is posted on this site, yet I can't make heads or tails of it concerning the starter or solenoid. I don't see that many separate wires in the diagram. Do you have any other resources to that wiring?

Harness for Solenoid

Hello Pinz people,

Starter or solenoid going bad, replacing.....took off harness from solenoid and these two smaller wires detached, appears to be damaged by a short? Truck is running great, so not sure what that is about. So the remaining wires look like this and it has a little black one that I ...

Horn beeps on hard turns.....

So, horn beeps randomly on full deflection turns....I assume it's in the turn signal wiring harness. Anyone else have these random beeps going on?

Re: Hooked up Battery wrong

I can't thank you enough for replying so quick. I really appreciate anyone willing to help debug situations with these vehicles. So, in my haste to hook everything up after being down for a few months, I failed to hook up the master battery switch ground. That probably saved me from any serious ...

Hooked up Battery wrong

Yes. All kinds of excuses but it is what it is. So, doing a lot of work de-rusting my 710. It's been a couple months since it's been started etc. I've had the batteries on trickle charge and are healthy. Putting stuff back together and briefly connected a swapped neg/positive position. Now I have ...
