Awesome trailer- I'm blown away by your talent. The pictures are motivating me to do start on some of my projects. Did you make the wheel adapters? If not, who did you get them from? Also, where did you source the 5-bar aluminum plate and the LED work lights from?

Thanks for the kind words! The exterior LED Lights are all made by a company called vision X. The interior LED’s are made by command electronics they have a switch that turns them red to white. You can order them all white also. All counted together I have 7200 lumens! Looks like a space ship at night! The spot lights on the front and rear draw less then an amp so it’s the way to go when you have limited power on board.
I made the wheel spacers myself after not finding what I wanted either. The 5 bar tread plate was easy to find at my local metal store.

How much does your trailer weigh?

Ed- I made the power outlet. Again I didn’t find anything available that looked right on the trailer and matched the look of the truck. The outlet on the front of the truck is for a removable winch I made years ago.

Undysworld- Yes I am running pinz wheels. Makes it much easier having to carry only one size spare. The trailer empty weighs 1600# fully loaded with 25 gallons of water and fully stocked with food it’s a shy under 2500#. The axle is rated at 3500 so I got room to add supplies/feature.

We had the pleasure of having Bernhard and Michelle stop by Snohomish on their way to Alaska.

It will be an epic journey, and I don't think anyone could be better prepared than they are, both mechanically and otherwise.
He has a mobile SAV of spare parts! The trailer is way cooler and well planned when seen in person, than even the pictures can show.

It's always nice to meet up with others from these forums, and have a face to face with folks we've been communicating with.

Thank so much for all the help on the trip Ed. Was great to meet you and your family! And Thanks for taking us to that camping spot in the middle of nowhere by your house. I really enjoined that location. Michelle was a little scared after your son mention the game trail ended at the front of our tent! She slept with the bear spray by her side all night! We drove over 5500 miles in 28 days. 1000 of that was on dirt roads. Never had a breakdown!! The Pinz is truly a reliable vehicle. We drove the 1 and 101 from so-cal all the way to the ferry port in Bellingham Washington and took the ferry to Hains Alaska. Then drove to Whitehorse and Dawson City, Up the Demster Highway and across the top of the world highway to Tok AK.. Then went to Denali national park via Fairbanks. Drove the Denali highway back to Tok then drove back to Hains and took the ferry back home. Wish I could have stayed longer. So much more to see up there.
