LED LIGHT BULBS

Post by ms1223 »

Has anyone tried these LED light bulbs?

I'm having a hard time finding 24v bulbs. I need some replacements and some spares. I had to "borrow" one today from my 416 trailer.

I am using the 1156 19 LED White for the front & Yellow for the rear. I am also using the 1156 White LED's for the inside spot lights in my 710K. The 12 LED bulbs are not that bright.

I think I'm going to try some in my M416 trailer. I hope this will keep the amperage down and the stress on the Pinz wiring Last year I burnt everything associated with the Green/Black tail light wire including the turn signal switch.

Mr Cheese- Did you use the wide angle bulbs (100 degree vs 12)? And as for the red LEDs, did you use the brighter '19' version? I am curious because I would like to order some for my Pinzgauer.

I don't know what degree the bulbs are but they look like the LED bulbs that ms1223 referenced. I am using the 19 LED Amber bulbs in the front parking lights and in the rear Hella turn signal lights that I added. Tail lights are already LED.

I found that if I use LED bulbs in both the front & rear turn signals they will not work, but if I use just 1 LED and a regular bulb the turn signal works.
