carb pump lever

could someone tell me what hole the pump lever on the carb goes in. Mine are on the outermost hole, but the manual shows it on the innermost hole.

Hey Jim The ones I pulled off the Pinz are in the middle hole, and I haven't had any issues. But my other set of carbs that were set up for high elevation were set up in the inner most hole.

My question is what is the diffrence between the holes. More gas pumped through the starter jet at the inner most hole?
