Alright, I'm trying to figure this out. There are 4 locker lights on on the dash. The outer 2 work, but the 2 in the middle don't. I figured it was a bad bulb. First thing is I found after removing the dash plate was that there are only plugs for 3 of the lights. Not sure why there are 4 indicator lights. Maybe someone can clarify.
I then replaced the bulb of the one in the middle that did have a connection plug and the light still did not come on. How do I know that the locker is engaged.
How do I check this??????

710 or 712? Jack it up and see if the wheels both spin the same direction if the lever is pulled. If one spins forward and one spins back you have open diff. The middle lever on a locks the rear axle. On a 712 it locks both rears. Your lockers are probably working, the connections are probably corroded.
Recently had problems with my locker lights too. One bulb was burnt out, 2 others had loose connections underneath. There are plug-in connections at each of the switches. Unplug them, clean em up and plug them in again. That's all it took for me.
