Charlene (daughter 3) and I rented the movie War Games today and there is a pretty nice 710M in the first three minutes or so. It was destroyed by a predator drone and no more Pinzgauers for the rest of the movie.

So if I hire it, I just need to watch the first 3 minutes!

Actually Peter, that is pretty much right. The rest of the story is your basic boy meets girl and they combine to defeat the bad guy in this case a rogue computer. Some touristy scenes from Montreal but no more Pinzgauers.

Andy, that would mean there was a pinz in Californa back in 1983.

This was the updated version of that movie I think. It said something about being part 2. Only terrorists in Cal. in '83 were Jane Fonda et al.

Actually I had no idea there was a remake, guess I need to find it and watch the first 3 minutes at least.
It took a while for me to find this but:

Doesn't look like it's done well.

Russ, yep that was the one. It's okay to watch at the house, but I'm glad I didn't pay money to go to a theater to watch it. It passed the time and I have seen worse.

Did not know there was a remake. I was scratching my head there for a while just could remeber the start of the first one.

I quite liked the original but wasn't aware that it had been remade.
Whilst we are on films, has anyone seen the Land Rover 101 in Three Kings?

Okay maybe I misspoke or miswrote, it is like part 2 of the first one, not a remake. After the Pinz part I wasn't exactly glued to it.
