Middlebury:

Firstly...that is one beautiful truck! Kudos to you for such a painstaking restoration. I don't think it could have rolled off of the assembly line in Graz as nice as that!

Those "bungs"...are they the "weld-nuts" in the website you linked? It's just hard to tell from the picture.

As for the garage...I think I have found Valhalla...I can now die in peace....(somebody float me out into the water...)

Heed,

Thanks for all of the praise!! I'm starting to blush . . .

If you guys are ever in the area stop by, I would enjoy meeting you and playing in the barn.

I used the "Square Projection Weld Nuts" behind the steel plate on the bumper.

I used the "Flanged Weld Nuts" to support the new rub rail on the chassis.

Hope this helps,

Mike

For any of you guys that don't want to spend a lot of time making functional high quality mounting brackets, here's a great website for you:

http://secure.chassisshop.com/

I have bought from these guys for years. Great products and service. They make mild steel brackets and assemblies to fabricate race car chassis. I bought a lot of stuff from them to mount my aux. lights, antenaes, and such to my exo skelton. The stuff is very reasonable and looks great.
