I will be out of town during NWMogfest - this would have been the perfect opportunity to check things out.

Based on everything I've read, I'm going to go with a 712m!

Wish me luck!
There's what appears to be a really nice one on ebay. I don't know anything about it other than what's showing on eBay.

I would guess in the high 20s? I wouldn't sell that one for less than $35K, but that's me.

At that price i'd say it was a steal. It looks like the passenger middle wheel has a hub leak?

I read the owner's comments regarding the restoration work - Do you recall doing any work on the gearing?

Thanks!!!

Sounds like a decent deal if the truck is a nice as it appears. I guess it all depends if the mods that have been done are something the buyer would want. Personally, I think that the truck (nice job Brian) is pretty sick from the pics, but those of you who know me realize I couldn't have a truck that clean. I would feel too guilty banging it around.

I know it seems pricey to some of us, but 712s aren't exactly a dime a dozen any more, and one that nice is pretty rare indeed.

Well - I just made a commitment to get a 712 from T-Lo.

The one on Ebay is NICE - but not exactly what I'd want - too nice.

Now I guess the learning process will begin!

Don't forget the canoe . . .

Good move and a well thought out choice. Lolo's putting together a 710m for me as we speak; from parts though and I think it is just too damn hot to go looking outside for what he needs!

My scientific reasons for choosing Thilo was anyone crazy - lolo  - enough to sell Outrigger Canoes in Arizona was my type of guy. Hope to "summer" in Bend with my 4 wheeler (when I can figure out how to retire) so maybe your 712's "little brother" will cross paths again someday.

Aloha - David

P.S. - what a great forum! Hope to become a regular once I have a Pinz in the garage . . . May have to drop offerings to the gods of SoCal on my way to Long Beach to see if they will let me join in the idle banter  Seriously though I have read almost every post and there is an amazing amount of information 8) . Thanks all!

Note that the 712 on e-blag was at $20,101 when the auction ended - reserve not met.
