Post by Garymartin »

Hi fesm-ndt,
Does that mean they have stopped stocking that part?or are they awaiting new stock?its always a bit of a worry when they stop stocking various parts.Have you decided what roof top unit you will use,if you get the bracket,I purchased mine in June @ 332.22 Euro. Hope you get sorted.it does make a big difference .

yep the comment was out of stock and not sure when they will have stock.

I was in Perth a few weeks back and spotted a Red Dot in a truck breakers. I am orgainising getting it shipped. It's a 12v one, but well nothings easy..... so will have to:

- change solenoids and fan motors
- mount the pump and the roof bit

I think a January job.....

When I picked up my Redot I had a choice of 12 or 24 v. Also compressor options were the same. That's in the U.S. as commercial trucks favor 24v. Just rubbing it in!

So has anyone got a LH 'aircon' engine mount floating around their shed?

I believe the Swedish PTO mount is exactly the same?

No luck thus far..... I did see a small unit the other day. An older steel unit what I would prefer, but guessing will need anything electical changed to 24v.... (may do that on Saturday).

Haven't talked with Stec for awhile but thinking a lot of wrecked Swedish ones out there

I'm from Perth originally

Hi Mike, I just found a Swedish hydraulic pump mount in the back of my shed !! :D I,m not sure if it's suitable for your aircon compressor but give me a direct e-mail address and I'll send you some pictures so you can decide, I've probably got the shovel mount you're after as well, ( my shed is full of wonderous things :D :D ) Cheers Nigel.

Received an answer from S Tec and was told it is still no stock. They are going to answer if any more are being manufactured.

Also a lot of the covers etc are "no longer available" so be careful with your plastic bits
