UK Pinzgauer Meeting

Post by HOOPS PINZ »

Guys there are a number of us out there if any one would be interested in us organising a Pinz weekend this year let me know.

It would be nice to camp or B B and get to meet all the trucks and owners.
If we get enough interest I would suggest a weekend perhaps in the Peak Districk or Wales green laning.

Hi Steve. I'm planning a Peak district run for a little later on when I've got my 716 up and running, there should be me and 2 more local pinnies, so with you lot we could have around 7 trucks, it could be good fun !!! :D :D :D

We could do with some sort of date for this depends when Nigel will get his Pinz done. I know he has lots of work on at the moment How does August/Sept sound with a camp site in the Peak districk.

Idea meet up Friday night split into groups on the Saturday of 3/4 vehicles and do the green lanes. Camp fire and a little barbeque on the Sat night along with one or two drinks.

If you let me know who is up for it I will start to get something organised.

August/September sounds good to me, should be up and running by then. It looks like we could have 10 Pinnies, so two groups of 5, ( try and keep the bobble hats quiet :D :D ) I think that has to be the maximum to stay PC. Keep in touch, and I look forward to seeing everyone. Nigel.

I have a site in mind near Chesterfield, there's a field for camping and an off road site attatched, ( usually very wet and muddy, ) I'm seeing the site owner on sunday for a Haflinger club meeting. I'll get a price from him for a block booking and dates available. It means we can have a full day greenlanig on the saturday and play in the mud on sunday. :D :D Let me know what you all think.

Nigel site in Chesterfield would be fine its on the edge of lots of lanes so yes that would be good. Along with the off road site attached will give everyone the opportunity of doing laning one day and site the next if they wish.

Well done Nigel

If you can all confirm if your coming so that I have an idea and Nigel can provisionaly book the number of vehicles in at the site.

I will work out different lanes for different groups of Pinzs unless you want to do your own thing on the day. Im sure Nigel will also have a number of lanes in mind.

Chapel Gate/ Hollins Clough/ Roych / Stan Edge/ Lady Cannings
Tenterhill/ Hope Cross just to name a few

Arrive Friday night. Green Lanes Sat and BBQ. Off road site Sunday

So Please get your names down

Sorry everyone, I won,t be in on this one, because we are off to Poland in about 2 weeks....but give us a year to get sorted and all the good lanes checked out and you can all come to me, plenty of land to camp on and Lanes enough through forest and over hill to satisfy anyone. Pics to follow.,
