Ha! That was you? Don't go and tell too many people about the 712s! Now that I have had both for a while, the 710 and 712s are VERY different beasts. The 710s are very nimble, easy to park and easier to fit in spaces. The 712s require more maintenance but fit more people, a bit more stable off road. I'd still maintain the 710 is perfect for the person who drives on roads more than off road while the 712 is directly the inverse.mopar wrote:Yeah I had seen that truck listed before. Looks real nice! Funny thing is I just got my 712 from NY. It was at a ski resort. audiocontr talked me out of his 710 and to get the 712.
Both of my trucks have unique personalities which is why I'm reluctant to let either go!

Make the drive! It will be your first "adventure" in your new toy. Just go for it.

Roll up the sides, bring a jacket, bring some sunglasses and be prepared to wave and beep your horn at EVERY car that passes you by. Practice giving everyone a thumbs up too. There will be a LOT of that on your journey!

Tomorrow is the big day...hitting the road at 7:00 AM. Hoping to get down there, get the truck, and hopefully drive it half way back by dark. Depending on timing its possible we could do the whole thing in a day but that may be pushing it. Got my truck loaded with supplies like oil, tools etc and keeping my fingers crossed I wont need to use any of them....
Cant wait to get my Pinz!

Mopar, I saw that pinz...tuxedo is 15 minutes from me...I had just bought my 710M which came all the way from indiana...then two weeks later the 712 in tuxedo was posted on e-bay, I thought how nice that would have been...I could have bought the vehicle and drove it home same day. It looked to be in nice shape, good luck with it
