Never ever seen any reference to any Belgian use of Pinzgauers.......I hope I would have seen or heard something, I keep my ear to the ground on that front......but you never know, they may have bought a couple for testing at sometime or other..it is possible, but I doubt if they did in any worthwhile numbers.

According to the Bible of Military Vehicles "Janes Military Vehicles and Logistics"...... NO!
They might have brought some late model TD's (716/718) after 1998 (refer below....as per New Zealand) but I've never seen any info to confirm this.

The 1985 edition lists Military "in service users" as:
Austria, Ghana, Nigeria, Sudan, Switzerland, Tunisia and Yugoslavia. Syria was also "reported" to have purchased 2000 units.

...whilst the 97 -98 edition (most of these would be TD's) lists Military "in service users" as:
Austria, Cyprus, Malaysia, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, UK and the USA.

Thanks for the replies. I was guessing that they didn't, but just wanted to see if anybody knew for sure.
