Yeah, it's a G underneath but with the ugly square headlights. It does have (or usually has) the Puch badge so maybe that makes it worth a little extra in certain peoples eyes. :wink: The price is average and after shipping, is a break-even deal. I'd much rather try getting Merc. G parts than these.

These are G-wagens - sort of - they used a french motor and were sold as "pugs" instead. I don't think they have front diff locks and are more spartan inside - like all of the military g's.

Might be worth looking into more... the price is not bad.

I was looking at the Mercedes and Puch Gs, and the Peugeot P4 last Febuary before getting the MTV. The P4s were a lot cheaper.
On this side of the pond, I'd recommend staying with the original Puch or Mercedes because of the support here.
Andy has some nice units. I especially liked the Puch 300GD ( if the flying dump truck hadn't come up, it would 've been in the driveway :wink: ) I'm surprised it hasn't sold

The P4s were all softtop/soft doors (iirc). There was a couple of P4s for sale in Texas and Florida for around $12k
