Me too, I have the same setup on my trophy truck (and on my TDs).
They have some massive stopping power no matter if they are wet,
muddy or dry. And one more thing, they work if you have to backup a hill too.

Btw. I had no luck to find the Pictures of the Truck. I just found some
short video sequences of the '95 Transsylvania Trophy though.
I am sure I have them somewhere.

Thats all good to hear as I haven't had a chance to feel them yet.

I have to get the master cylinder rebuilt prior to test driving as well as getting some brake fittings. (the originals were "borrrowed" to engineer another disc brake system)

The assembly of the truck may get put on the front burner now due to a recent engine failure on my daily driver. Stilll contemplating cost of repairs, value of car, life expectancy, etc...

I feel like I'm leaving a trail of broken down vehicles in my path. I dont want the Pinz to be one of them.

"the originals were "borrrowed" to engineer another disc brake system"
Does this mean such a system might become available for the rest of us?

Possibilities have always been there for public availability. Its just been an issue of cost effectiveness.

You know how it works. Call Jim Laguardia, do the math, make the decision.

More progress has been made. I put on the dizzy, cap, wires, coil, and voltage regulator. Jim picked up the "proper" carb mounting nuts so I can install them.

I remember this truck from when Vince raced it and I recall the race too. That was when I first discovered the Pinz and not long after got mine.

I agree with some of the comments. I don't like the truck in it's current form. Butt ugly. I like it much better how Vince had it set up.

P/S and disc brakes!? Sounds like stuff I need, I like to drive my Pinz (ex-trophy truck) down gravel & dirt roads at 50mph! :)
