Doesn't the glare from the flash sort of wash you out? There may not be enough filters on the lens to compensate for the shine.

The legs just have a 4"x 1.5" piece of flat stock resting on the reinforced portion of the roll member. no nuts, bolts, or penetrations. Just rests on the canvas with a piece of foam to save the canvas and keep it from rocking while loading it.
